I liked Joey Pigza because it was easy to understand. My favorite part was when Joey’s mom told him he could get a dog, I could see what his face looked like in my head. Another thing I liked was when Joey found out he was going back to his regular school.
One thing I would have liked differently is if the author told us more about Joey’s dad, like they could go and try and find him. If Joey liked his dad maybe he could move back in with them. Maybe Mom and Joey running in to him by mistake.
I would suggest this book to other kids because I think it has meaning to it, for example, someone you know had ADD, you could relate to that. I think it would be better for younger kinds rather than older kinds because it’s easy to read and older kinds need more of a challenge.
